BATTERY POWER INFORMATION

The following information is as a result of discussions and decisions made at the MPBA EGM held on 27^th April 2008 in Coventry and forms the ‘legal’ requirement for battery power at all MPBA race meetings with immediate effect.

ALL CELLS MUST BE ROHS COMPLIANT. IF IN DOUBT REFER TO THE MPBA WEBSITE on www.mpba-fe.org

ECO EXPERT, ECO STANDARD, HYDRO 1, MONO 1

Lithium power (2S1P) with a maximum capacity of 5000MaH and maximum weight of 280g. Minimum rating of 20C and must be ROHS compliant……………….. or

3S2P A123 (Part No ANR26650M1) cells (2300MaH per cell) Maximum weight 510g. Minimum rating of 20C ………or

7 x Sub C NiMh cells.

MONO 2, HYDRO 2, FORMULA 1

 Lithium power (4S1P) with a maximum capacity of 5000MaH and maximum weight of 560g……..or

5S2P A123 (Part No ANR26650M1) cells (2300MaH per cell) with maximum weight of 850g……or

12 Sub C cells.

MONO 3, HYDRO 3

Lithium power (6S1P) with maximum capacity of 5000MaH and max weight of 840g……or

7S2P A123 (Part No ANR26650M1) cells (2300MaH per cell) and maximum weight of 1190g…….or

20 sub C cells.

MINI-OVAL, MINI ECO

Lithium power (2S1P) with maximum capacity of 1800MaH and maximum weight of 110g…..or

3S1P A123 (Part No ANR26650M1) cells with maximum capacity of 1100MaH per cell…….or

7 x 2/3A NiMh cells maximum capacity of 1600MaH
